How would you describe the current crisis

It is the first global crisis of humanity. No one is spared, which was never produced before. I route the world in every sense and this is very simple: 153 countries in the WTO are affected.

What can bring the g-20

The very existence of the g-20 is a progress. A meeting of Heads of State representing 90 of the world economy is a necessity because there is no legitimate universal forum to deal with the problems posed. But do not to bear a responsibility that exceeds! Participants will not go into the details of the reforms, it will take time to do this, find consensus. And especially we forget , the g-20 does not have the means to impose its decisions on around the world. This is not the Government of the world...

Why Because developing countries now see their advantage.

Part of the opinion justice but that trade opening and deregulation are responsible for the crisis...

Because it is too often confused open trade and deregulation. You can open and regulate. The Canada is almost full free trade with the United States and there has been no explosion in its financial system. Not because it would be closed, but because the Canada regulate its financial system, unlike the United States. Through exchanges, 400 million people are out of poverty in recent years. Yet again, if developing countries want a new agreement on trade, is not a coincidence.

The idea of decline in globalization have meaning

I do not, because there is a movement pushing towards globalization, and this movement is the technology. General Electric said that most of its products are manufactured in at least six countries. And the reason for which a piece is manufactured in the Mexico, in Colombia, a third in India, a fourth in the United States, etc., is the technological efficiency. And this will not change.

How far do you think that the economic model of recent years will be questioned

In many places on this planet, market capitalism is questioned for a long time. Many leaders said: socially, it is not tenable. From an environmental point of view either. The crisis gives them reason. I always thought that this system is inherently unstable and producer of inequalities and injustices which, moreover, it feeds, even if it is a powerful engine of growth. The idea made its way that the growth of the last thirty years model will become less extravagant.

What reports of forces will you get out of this period

It is clear that Asia and Latin America will have more weight in 20 years than they have today and it is probably also true for Africa. And the United States lose their strong growth faster than Europe. Politically, I note also that the Nordic social democratic model of the Sweden or the Denmark was rather well digested the previous crises, a balance between opening exchanges and internal solidarity.
